THE CREATOR
Kenzie’s Third Eye is the artistic universe of Mackenzie Dennis—a self-taught, home-based creative, whose work radiates with vibrant color, intuitive symbolism, and deep emotional resonance. Rooted in both the physical realm and the metaphysical lens of her “Third Eye,” Mackenzie’s practice explores spirituality, vulnerability, and inner knowing as essential forces of creation.

Her signature use of whimsical, watchful eyes serves as both motif and message, embodying her philosophy of living with “3 Eyes Open.” This perspective honors intuition as a guiding seed—one that nurtures creativity, awareness, and connection to unseen dimensions of self and spirit. Each piece invites viewers to look beyond the surface and engage with the layered realities that shape human experience; especially those of color.

Inspired by nature and guided by emotion, Mackenzie’s work becomes a visual language of healing, reflection, and empowerment. At its core, her art is a celebration of the Black Feminine experience—an intimate expression of identity, resilience, softness, and strength. Through her unique perspective, Mackenzie offers not just images, but portals into a richly imagined and deeply felt inner world.

After a period devoid of creation for over 4 years, Art revisited Mackenzie in the fall of 2024 and she gave birth to the Third Eye Universe. Creating from the core of her Spirituality and deeply inspired by Mother Nature, every piece is a love letter to the complexity of human life. Each painting is intimately curated and created with care. Mackenzie strives to leave her mark on the world. Her life path is committed to the healing and empowerment of her community through her spirituality, art and writing.

THE JOURNEY
The Creative Classic IV: Expressions in Bloom
The Creative Classic, hosted by The Movement Street, was Mackenzie's first ever public viewing of her art. Hosted in Southeast D.C, showcasing six pieces, she stood out with her vibrant colors and whimsical style. "The Creative Classic was an evening to remember. I remember being so incredibly nervous because it was the first time anyone ever saw my art apart from social media. I am so grateful I could be apart of the experience." (April 2025)
Art Groove NYC
Only one month later, Kenzies Third Eye was seen again in New York City. Showcasing three pieces at The Art Groove, Mackenzie gained more exposure to the art scene. "I remember being so excited to go to New York and enter a different scene. It was so crazy to me that I was showing my art publicly so soon after my very first show... such a blessing." (May 2025)
Pancakes and Booze
Mackenzie made her third and most recent appearance at Pancakes and Booze, an internationally renowned pop-up founded in LA in 2009. Showcasing fan favorites such as "Enlightenment Level 6" and "Awakening", Kenzie's Third Eye gained more spotlight in the public eye. "When I first arrived at the show to drop off my art, the line was around the block. So many talented artists were present and I remember feeling small in that moment. I just couldn't believe I had gotten so far in such a short time." (September 2025)

On the weekend of March 27-28 2026, Mackenzie made her 4th, and most recent public appearance at her second Creative Classic V -Edge of Tomorrow hosted by the Movement Street. "I pushed myself to my limit. I prepared for this show 6 months in advance and created the largest pieces i've ever conceptualized." she says. "This show taught me that I am capable of achieving the goals I set my mind to, my reality is in my own two hands; no one else's". (March 2026)
